What a player, almost flawless at the back. I applied a Catalyst chemistry and that seems to boost his stats the most. When i used the base Ramos card, i used Sentinel

I partner him along side IF Chiellini. What a duo they have become for me. Ramos is all over the pitch, he makes critical challenges and usually does not commit fouls.

I used TOTY Varane before saving enough and would say, Ramos, has an extra boost in game. I feel more confident with him (could be a placebo)

Guess the only thing he doesn't do for me is score goals but at the back, he's almost the best CB for me in FIFA 19. And i have used many many good CBs, Hummels, Boateng, Bonucci, Varane, Thiago, etc

Packed this guy in one of those La Liga sbc's, and he is just awesome. Playing him together with normal Varane and they are very good together.

Let me start with the pace, 85 pace is a lot for a CB and with a shadow you get +12 pace which puts him up to 97. I know the defending doesn't help, but shadow gives the most pace out of all cards. Catalyst is not worth it at all, since it only boosts "useless" passing stats which he doesn't need. It also gives less pace. Even with so much pace he doesn't feel as quick as those rapid wingers and wing-backs, but he still feels fast, so pace is really good for his position. Normal Varane still feels faster though, don't know why.

His shooting is just awesome for a CB. I have had 3 longs shots with this guy and all 3 have gone in. His timed shots are awesome even though he only got 69 long shots. Shooting is the most useless stat for a CB, but it's still fun to shoot with him.

His passing is perfect. Besides a little bit low vision his stats make him so good to play with from the back. He also is my free kick taker but haven't managed to try him yet, haven't gotten a free kick in shooting range for ages. But as said, he is perfect for starting the plays after winning the ball back.

His dribbling is so much fun. When I'm in the lead I love to go dribble with him, and since he's got 3* skill moves and perfect agility & ball control you can dribble through an entire team if the opponent is not the best. Ball control also helps a lot when he gains the ball back and I want to start a quick counter.

Defending is perfect. What else can I say? Not one bad stat, and if you go for Shadow he will get 99 in every one. He stops everything in his path.

Physicality is perfect too, and that 96 stamina means he is never tired. He doesn't feel as strong as example normal Van Dijk, but he still feels very strong and bullies people off the ball.

Conclusion is that he is one of the best CB's in the game. Only problems I had was that he is a little bit small, so he might lose a lot of duels against tall players. His work rates were worrying me at the start, and even though he sometimes is a bit offensive, he still is in the right spot most of the time when you need him in defence. Can't really say if he's worth the price since mines untradeable, but I don't think I would spend 2 mill on a CB unless you got a lot of money. I still think TOTY Varane is better as a defensive option because of his pace and height.
